A Couple of Simple Chicken Breast Recipes to Try

Still, you probably want to do something more exciting than eat meat straight out of a packet. That’s why we’ve collected a couple of simple recipes that use our amazing Halal Grilled Chicken Breast Fillet.

Recipe #1 – Chicken With a Pesto and Basil Cream Sauce and Rice

Because you already have the chicken ready, you only need to create a pesto cream sauce. Here’s what you need:

  • Some salt and pepper
  • A tablespoon of garlic
  • Two cups of fresh basil leaves
  • Three tablespoons of walnuts
  • A half cup of olive oil
  • A third of a cup of grated Pesto cheese

So, how do you create the sauce?

First, add your garlic, basil, and walnuts to a food processor. Pulse the processes eight times to really mix it all together.

After that, add a quarter cup of olive oil into the mix and turn the processor on. Allow the mixture to pulse until it’s completely blended.

Here’s comes the tricky bit. Add the rest of the olive oil to the mixture while it’s still being pulsed in the process. Pour it in a steady stream so you don’ have to worry about spillage. Then, add your pesto cheese in a similar manner.

Allow the entire thing to mix together, using your salt and pepper to season it as needed.

There you have it, a beautiful pesto sauce. We recommend serving your chicken breast with this sauce and a portion of rice for a simple and filling meal.

Recipe #2 – Chicken and Courgette with a Garlic Cream Sauce and Pasta

We love sauces as Najma food, so our second recipe also makes heavy use of them. The courgette adds some extra flavour to the mix as well.

The first thing you want to do is fry the courgette. You may want to fry the chicken breast as well, but you can eat it as it is if you prefer. You want to wait until the courgette is crispy but still tender. You’ll also want to prepare your pasta while doing this.

Then there’s the garlic cream sauce.

First, melt a couple of tablespoons of butter into a saucepan over medium heat. Add a single, minced clove of garlic to the pa

Cook this for one minute before adding three tablespoons of regular flour. Keep cooking until you have a smooth mixture that’s bubbling under the heat.

Now, add three ounces of cream cheese, a can of chicken broth, and pepper to the mix. Keep cooking the mixture until you have a nice, smooth sauce. Taste and add salt if needed.

With everything prepared, create a bed of pasta in a dish and add your slices of courgette on top. Place the chicken breasts on top of that before pouring your sauce.
